In 2004, Jason Friedman, the creative center of THE BOGGS, left New York for Berlin. Over the next year and a half, Friedman hid away refining his songs, tearing them apart and building them back up. Recording in the Former GDR’s headquarters for radio and television, in bedrooms and kitchens and anywhere he could find studio time, the record FORTS slowly began to take shape.

Now back in New York, the third line up of THE BOGGS featuring members of LOVE AS LAUGHTER and ENON has begun to turn heads and drop jaws with their hip shaking and gnarled rock songs. Say Hey Records is pleased to be able to release the first glimpse of this new Boggs with a special limited edition Say Hey 12” single. The limited edition single features two new songs, ARM IN ARM--a three and a half minute chorus of relentless energy punctuated by burst of brass and thundering drums--and THE PASSAGE—a haunting lullaby sung from somewhere between dreams. Also included are 2 remixes of ARM IN ARM by THE GLASS FACTORY and the much in demand SHY CHILD.
